Holiday Club

Throughout the school holidays and on school closure days we can offer a holiday club for children aged 5-11years. The holiday club is fun-packed and children contribute fully into what they would like to do during their time with us. Activities include arts and crafts, cooking, sports and taking advantage of the surroundings and enjoying fun in the park that is just a stone’s throw away.

Parents

The team at Making Miracles are so lovely. My three children have loved attending the setting. I cannot fault their caring nature and understanding of my son's allergies to make him feel included and safe.

They go above and beyond.

I had the pleasure of running MooMusic sessions at Making Miracles and have always been impressed with the staff and how they care for the children and encourage them on their learning journey.  They are a great team and I highly recommend them.

Making Miracles is a really friendly and flexible nursery. I love that the children all play together in the same room, interacting with different ages. Plus they provide a holiday club for the older siblings in the holidays.

Hursley

Making Miracles Hursley is set within a village situated between Romsey and Winchester, having beautiful surroundings.

Opening in September 2010, over the years Making Miracles Nursery and Pre-School has become part of the community, building up strong connections with local businesses, as well as the local school, John Keble.

We strive to provide a welcoming and homely environment for all our children and their families.  With an open plan setting, children can fully engage with children of different ages, building on vital social skills for later development.  Children can explore all areas of the Nursery as well as having a free flow system for them to explore the outside area.

At Making Miracles Hursley staff are always on hand to develop the children's skills and knowledge, taking into account their individual needs and interests and linking this closely with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). We ensure each child has a Key Worker in place for all children.  By having this Key Person in place we can fully engage with each child, ensuring all individual needs are met and their development can progress through their own interests in line with the EYFS.

At Making Miracles Hursley, we ensure there are plenty of activities to stimulate, challenge and interest children of all ages.  With plenty of messy activities such as jelly, rice, shaving foam and paint, children can explore different textures, as well as developing their fine motor skills.  In the role play area children can build on their imagination and bring in life skills from outside the setting.  Within the creative area, again children can build on their imagination and develop their physical skills, as well as their literacy.

I am always looking to further my training and keep my knowledge up to date, to which I also encourage my staff to further their training also.

I am very passionate about childcare and the development of our children, helping them to learn and grow.

With the help of my strong and reliable team, who are also very dedicated, it is our aim to provide a home from home environment, ensuring we all do our very best to provide the much-needed support and encouragement to each individual child and their families, and liaise this through strong communication with each other."
